Synopsis "From the Deep Forest"
Crystal and Freddie McKenzie are middle school siblings who annoy each other much of the time, but they share a love for exploring the wilderness near their home. When their frequent visits to the woods result in an encounter with a creature-a dark, massive, mysterious monster-their lives are changed forever. At first they're certain they won't survive this terror. The creature is huge and powerful, unleashing waves of primal fear exceeding anything that the kids have faced in their scariest dreams. Then they're not sure if they could ever tell anyone about what has happened. Who would believe that they have gotten so close to such an amazing beast of legend-and lived to tell about it?As Crystal and Freddie seek ways to gradually let the rest of the world in on their miraculous discovery, however, the situation starts to spiral out of control.
