Synopsis "Frozen Assets"
In a small town in Montana, philanthropist, Ira Goodman, was found frozen to death, spread-eagle in the middle of a pentagram, with a fire poker imbedded in his chest. Detective Rand Dubois and, son Alan, embark on the trail of the killer.Olivia Hope, president of the Women's Investment Club Association (WICA), has a lot of hidden secrets. Lily White is a rich woman who can never get enough of anything, including men. Pamela Phuchet, a young widowed mother with two rambunctious boys, owns a Christmas tree farm, and is a fanatical fitness guru. Maggie Berns, a famous child actress, escaped the Hollywood life to live in Canada, but landed in a town that needed a good drama teacher. Ida Hoe, won the lottery and moved to Montana to escape her father, and works for the city-digging graves. These unlikely friends, who bonded over failed relationships and stashed cash, are united in rebuilding a depressed community.Oliva and her friends invested their life savings with Goodman's construction company to revitalize the town of Libby, Montana. However, Goodman took their money and ran. As if losing their money wasn't enough, Goodman also stole their dreams-a sure motive for murder. When Olivia learns of Goodman's death she rushes to find Goodman's killer before the notorious Rand Dubois starts sniffing the WICA trail. After all, Olivia is the one who talked the women into investing their money with Goodman, and she is the one who gave the order to nail Goodman's naked body to the floor.
