Synopsis "Hand of Hope: Vietnamese Refugees at Camp Pendleton, 1975"
As South Vietnam fell to Communist forces in the spring of 1975, hundreds of thousands of South Vietnamese citizens fled the country. Most of them made their way to the United States. Camps were established at four military bases to house these people until they could be assimilated into American society. This is the story of one of those camps.
