Hank’s Whiskey is a story of madness. This unlikely thriller is set in the beautiful and unsuspecting Ocean Shores, in Washington. To give you an idea of the horror that is about to unfold for you and what happens is this… There are these two brothers, Butch and Pete Connors, who have robbed a bank, and in the process of getting away, Pete shot an Ocean Shores Police officer. Speeding down Ocean Shores Road, Butch is forced to avoid a Deer, and ends up crashing the getaway car. Stuck in the middle of nowhere and the police chasing them they head into the woods and come out onto a new road and find a secluded house. Butch and Pete decide to take make this their hide out for the night. It will help them to evade the police and give them shelter from the dangerous thunderstorm brewing above them, and it has started to rain. Liane Adams is the visually impaired woman who lives alone in the secluded house and is startled when she comes out of her bedroom to find the Connor brothers in her kitchen. She is concerned and less than happy to find out that these are the bank robbers she had heard about on the radio, and that they intend to use her house to hide out in. Liane begins to get defensive when Butch starts to ask about who is in the house, and the whereabouts of her husband Hank. Butch doesn’t like the answers he is getting and insist on being shown around the house. Liane’s anxiety grows as Butch and Pete keep poking around her house. Liane is afraid that they will eventually uncover her deep dark secret. If you want to know what that secret is, you’re going to have to read the book. I’m not telling!
