In the midst of our pain, Christ, through his brokenness and death, won the great battle; therefore we are able to rejoice amid our troubles. Our journey is tiny in comparison to the great victory won for us. Then I see you again, on the cross this time, bloodied, with a sorrowful crown on your head, a sword pierced in your side. It is then that I'm reminded of your victory for me. A surge of hope and victory rushes through my veins. They captivate me; I am drenched with your love.
