In seinem Privatinstitut entstand ein eigenes Modellversuchslaboratorium in dem er neuartige Messgeräte bis hin zu kompletten computergesteuerten Versuchs- und Berechnungssystemen, wie die weltweit beachtete "Hybridstatik", entwickelte.
