Das Alpha-Fetoprotein gilt als der empfindlichste und spezifischste Tumormarker für Leberkrebs, und in jüngster Zeit haben viele Autoren einen weiteren Biomarker beobachtet, der die akute und empfindliche Diagnose bestätigt. Darüber hinaus kann das hepatozelluläre Karzinom durch eine Immuntherapie, insbesondere mit Killerzellen, bekämpft werden. In Zukunft muss die Immuntherapie individualisiert auf verschiedene Tumore angewendet werden.
