Synopsis "Her Death Unleashed the Evil: A Noah Drinkwater Mystery"

When a former church is finally cleansed of its evil aura, the townspeople breathe a sigh of relief and return to their normal lives. It's now a few years later and much has changed. The former church building has been converted to a hotel. The church members have either moved or are attempting to reform their lives. A few of them have been incarcerated or are dead. Crime and evil deeds are only memories in the minds of most people, but Fairhaven's tall, handsome Police Chief Noah Drinkwater and his dedicated officers have not forgotten. Ancient Penobscot burial sites, a possible murder victim found with the ancient bones and a new romantic relationship for Noah guarantee a fast-moving story with murder, ancient mysteries and romance setting the pace. The residents of Fairhaven, Maine are finally feeling safe again and no one is thinking about murder, but when news that a skeleton, recently dead, has been found intermingled with the bones of an ancient Penobscot burial ground, the rumors of another death start circulating. Someone has once again invited Evil to their peaceful town and their uneasy thoughts are filled with fear. Bones, dead bones and not just ancient bones, combined with not one, but possibly two, romantic relationships for Noah, guarantee a fast-paced story of murder, romance and love. (Women just can't resist a man in a uniform.) Noah and his officers furiously conduct a search for suspects only to realize the murderer may, just possibly, have a connection to the former church. How and why this could happen is part of the mystery. Noah has several suspects but not one of them is a perfect fit for the murderer. Then, another person is murdered and this time the circumstances are even stranger. With the help of older residents familiar with the former church, and new residents willing to help rid their new town of evil, the Police finally narrow the identity of the murderer down to two or three people. Time goes on and the police seem to be stuck, until one of the suspects makes a move which blows the mystery wide open.
