Synopsis "Highland Cross"
Clan Ross struggles under an ancient curse. Legend has it that rival Clan Sutherland stole their iconic Celtic cross. Now, Clan Ross will continue to be down-trodden until the cross is returned to its rightful place. Alexander Ross volunteers to carry out the dangerous task of recovering the cross. He reaches enemy territory and spots Kirstine Sutherland bathing near the cross. She notices him spying on her and throws a rock at him, her aim surprisingly true. Enraged, Kirstine's clan searches for Alexander, and she gets separated from the group when she injures her ankle. Alexander tries to help her, but she refuses.Alexander digs up the cross and attempts to escape with it before the break of day, but it is too heavy. Kirstine assists him after his promise to take her with him. He refuses and leaves on his horse with the cross in tow.Alexander is ambushed and brutally injured as the Sutherlands reclaim the cross. Kirstine again comes to his aid, defying her own clan.Now, they are both being hunted, and escape seems impossible...
