Synopsis "Hiv Prevalence in Senegal Associated With the Sugar Daddy Phenomenon"
Over the years ,Hiv has been decimating million of people in Africa. However, there is often an erroneous approach about the existence of the risky sexual behavior in vogue in Africa. Despite the fact that Hiv is usually associated with poverty, culture plays a prominent role. Here, in our case study, we focus on the country of Senegal located in West Africa. The relevance here is to show how the quest of social legitimacy tailors the social behavior of the Senegalese females. In fact,in Senegal, marriage has a positive function and women and girls are tempted to do everything to get married. Our analysis is both qualitative with emphasis on the culture and quantitative to give our study a strong scientific basis. The aim is to show the incidental effect of some variables such as the level of education, the professional occupation and the age factor into the behavior of the women and girls in Senegal. The goal is to show that the psychosocial identity of the Senegalese female is a core feature of their risky sexual behavior. In addition, there is a duplicity adopted by the men living in Senegal , who are in fact the main source of the dissemination of the HIV.
