Synopsis "How to Become a Villain"

Mellie Parkinson is the brooding neighborhood snoop. She watches the people in her neighborhood with her eagle eyes to make sure they obey her imposed speed limit on their street. However, the street is her biggest enemy. It is a dusty dirt road that makes her life miserable. After gifting the deed of the road to the city, nothing has been done to fix her situation. When she finds out that her new neighbor is a contracted asphalt worker, she lays out a plan to steal the deed back.Lance Clark is dealing with two problems. He is Mellie's unfortunate son-in-law, and he hates his job at the city newspaper. When he finds out about Mellie's heist plans, he decides to jump in and help. The only problem is that neither of them know how to perform a heist. Mellie and Lance stumble over each other as they move through their planning and into their heist adventure. Will either of them be able to pull it off with the other one messing everything up?
