Synopsis "How to Overcome WEARINESS: Focusing on God's Word"
We leave in a broken world where tragedies, loses, disappointments, suffering, pain and challenges happen. When God created everything, He said it was good but when sin came into the world, everything changed. Our world is broken; all kinds of things happen and we have innumerable experiences and come out differently based on our various backgrounds. We come out differently, drained - physically, emotionally, mentally, and psychologically. This has had terrible effect on people; it has left negative impact on some and if not properly handled can degenerate to some very damaging state. I have come across several people, that, I can say the devil has really taken advantage of them or their inability to handle weariness has become a torture and they are dying silently. From the scripture above, Jesus is saying, "come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burden and I will give you rest." The word weariness means to wear down, to make old, and to shrink back like a coward in a war. When I am weary, I am simply worn out, run down and loosen. Many people are going through weariness and they are throwing up their hands on very important things in their lives. Weariness can make you throw up your hands in marriage; weariness can make you throw your hands up concerning your Christian experience; weariness can make you throw your hands up in your career and jobs; weariness can make you leave a relationship.
