Ali's search for answers leads him to the last surviving member of the Exploration Service. Although Ellie's stories about the Consumer war, alien contact, and amazing transportation technology sound crazy, Ali agrees to investigate. Soon, he's speeding through the galaxy on a heroic quest to save the human species.
