Synopsis "I Am A Duck"
God gives us inspiration and challenges and this book was a challenge. My good friend and I at work decided to challenge one another in writing and it was then that we would each write a story and determine who could really write an exposé; something simple of course. I was excited about the challenge and felt very confident about it because my imagination had been running away with me. You see, I also write poetry. So as we talked, and this idea came to me when we discussed the topic, saying, "Okay let's write a story titled, 'I Am A Duck!' The race was on, and here is mine, now illustrated and everything because God supplied, and when He did it, it was a miracle because it is now 2019-2020; its inception was May 4th, 2009, and a second rewrite was April 5, 2015, and still no illustrator really. But yesterday a beautiful classmate and friend posted her very talented Granddaughter's work on Facebook, and I was hooked, as I am sure you will be too. Glory to God!This story was just a simple exercise in writing, which became an important story implanted in my spirit for all time. Guess God liked it because scripture says: Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.While I am exercising my writing skills, God is exercising my faith making it strong and durable, even for children's amusement and for their sakes. We author many books and now will try to enter into the children's realm of influence and Love because it was said in Matthew 19:14: "Jesus said, "'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" Amen, and we agree with this statement!
