Synopsis "I am Leaving You"
Stephen finds himself fired and blacklisted from his profession, with his wife concerned only about maintaining their position and status. Katherine, abandoned by her long-term boyfriend in less than ideal circumstances and trapped in a job as a barmaid, finds solace in her voluntary work in an animal refuge. When chance makes their worlds collide, they will discover that there is more to life than they had imagined. Overflowing with dark humour "I Am Leaving You" mixes social commentary and romance, with a special emphasis on a realistic and well rounded cast of characters. Born in 1990 in the city of Barcelona, Alejandro Monteagudo developed from an early age a fascination regarding psychology and sociology that takes him to study Criminology, graduating in 2015. Joining this interest with his passion for literature, both his poetry and his prose explores human nature, developing the critical voice that has defined his work. Currently residing in the United Kingdom.
