A sojourn into the realm of a blinking mind's eyes.More than just a passing fancy but a feast for the heart. With one foot in the dark, and the other just stepping into the light Poems I wrote expressing struggles between light and dark, good and bad, happiness and sadness, positive and negative.... ...there is a little dark in every great light, and a little light in every great dark... The theme of these poems is just that. Exposing light within the dark, or even, dark within a light... In addition, this book contains some very special poems done in memorial to either heroes of the past and present, or wonderful people who passed from this world far too soon. Be it a relative or a friend, or even someone you hear about on the news. An attempt is made to pay homage to them or their relatives. Some poems includes are... A New Saint; A Knight, in memory of Nelson Mandela Typhoon of Misery, in memory of those who died in the Philippines during 2013's devastating typhoon. Braden's Compassion, dedicated to a young boy who made the news in 2014 by putting flowers on lonely graves. A Mother's Day is Everyday, dedicated to all those who have lost a dear mother. Echoes of the Fallen, dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one. "Hugs from Kennedy", poem dedicated to the memory of a young girl in Utah who's message is still felt today... Some other poems within hint at much larger works of fiction... yet to come. All these poems, generally, represent a clash between the light and the dark. Good or bad.
