Her mother was completely co-dependent on the man she thought she couldn't live without. Continuously neglecting and abusing her young children, she favored the drunken womanizer who created the hell in which they lived. Sometimes penniless, most of the time jobless, and always on the verge of homelessness, this memoir will show you what a dysfunctional family was really like in the 70's and 80's. Forced to marry at the young age of 15 would set in motion a chain of events that forever altered the author's life. As the second child bride of three sisters she will show you how much adversity one woman can endure yet still come out on the other end.... miraculously intact.
