The man is Joe; a Brazilian marathon runner in his 20's living a passionate life in Massachusetts with his wife Helena and her lover Yahana. The fire of their relationship goes out of control when their emotions come into play, at the expense of their own individuality, and then dies out. The substance of the problem is after losing the sexual appeal between them, they stay together in order to cope with the emotional turmoil they have stirred up. It would be for people who have the curiosity to understand the fantasy of others, even when they don't have the capacity to engage in this kind of relationship for themselves.
