The author's family comes from Jamaica and introduced her to healing bush remedies and with this book she hopes to educate friends, family, and strangers about the natural bush teas that kill cancer cells, eliminate high blood pressure, diabetes and so many more diseases. She believes that God saved her life to show others that the diagnosis may be grim but its not a death sentence. The author walks the reader through the diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, holistic treatments and staying positive. Though she is very honest about everything she imparts humor because she knows anyone going through cancer needs the gift of laughter in their lives. The author's story is told with frank honesty and she is determined to help those fighting not only cancer but those battling any type of debilitating disease.
