The collection, titled Illusions, is about the deceptions and illusions perpetrated by people, about themselves, both to others and to themselves. From the author: These poems came to me at times when I was feeling intense emotion - and they helped me to name my feelings to an extent. At the time I wasn't able to write about my emotions or what I was going through in any other way - these poems were my sole outlet. Many of the poems may seem sepulchral; but to me the darkness of the words alleviated the darkness in my heart.
