Synopsis "In the dead of summer"
On a hot August night in 1977, Ben and his kid sister Emily had their father's blood on their hands. They had a hard life growing up. Their father's drinking and extreme Christian beliefs had taken its toll on them and now he was dead. They flee from the scene and are on the run. Hours after the murder they find themselves at a lone diner; scared, haunted and alone. That was until they witnessed something very strange by a kid with blue hair sitting at the counter. Soon they are roaming the night together, on the run from the law. But for Ben, Emily and the kid with blue hair, their lives become connected and secrets will come crashing down.
