Synopsis "In the Driver's Seat"
Renowned scientist, Marcus Newton, has discovered a way to unlock the secrets of the future. War, famine, and disease could become things of the past. He has a found a way to change the world for the better. The future, however, is fighting back. Ironically, as Marcus seeks to change the world, he finds his own world crumbling around him. His marriage is in shambles. The scientific community has spurned him. The solace he found in the arms of his young, beautiful assistant may not be what it seems Dark forces are conspiring against Marcus. To some, his time machine is an abomination. It represents the hubris of human pride and idolatry; "Only God gets to know the future!" To others, his time machine is the ultimate weapon. With it they could defeat all enemies. They won't let anything, or anyone, stand in their way. Swirling in the mix of religious, political, and personal chaos is a malevolent force, a dark presence, which Marcus refuses to acknowledge-until it's too late. As the darkness increases, Marcus finds himself in the middle of a supernatural battle that has raged for eons. Tragedy seems to be the only thing the future is willing to send back to the present. How can he fight forces that, in his scientific world, don't even exist? Even with a time machine at his disposal, time might be running out for Marcus Newton.
