It is 1999 and something evil is watching from a medieval church tower as the Carrington family move into an abandoned Georgian rectory in Hellaby in South Yorkshire, England. Little do Michael (18) and Lucia (16) know that an ancient curse is associated with the village. Strange and terrifying things begin to happen and when Michael discovers a diary written by a Victorian clergyman that tells of a demon that terrorized the place in the late Nineteenth Century, he begins to fear the worst. When Michael visits the church he meets Gus Vine, the curator who reveals even more of the bizarre history associated with the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. And all the while Michael finds himself developing a dangerous and illicit fixation as his emotions and feelings are warped by an unseen presence. As the new millennium approaches, the Carrington family is torn apart by the soulless machinations of an age-old demonic entity. Incubus Gothic is the first in a series of Horrotica novels. It contains graphic horror and explicit sex scence and is not for those who are easily offended.
