Das System der Integration von Landwirtschaft, Viehzucht und Wald ist eine gute alternative Technologie für Verbesserungen im Agrarsektor. Die vorliegende Studie befasst sich mit der Charakterisierung des Viehbestands in der Gemeinde Mesópolis/SP und dem Ziel der Verbreitung des silvipastoralen Systems. Die Daten wurden durch Befragungen von Erzeugern bei Besuchen von Betrieben mit Milch- und Fleischviehhaltung gewonnen. Es wurden fünfzig (50) Erzeuger befragt, die die Merkmale ihrer Grundstücke und Produktionsgebiete beschrieben. Es wurden günstige Merkmale für die Umsetzung des silvopastoralen Systems und das Interesse der Viehzüchter festgestellt.
