Synopsis "International Technology Transfer: A Case Study"
Within a competitive organisational environment, technology transfer has become a differential for companies. Since innovation is a leading point in the market, technology transfer has encouraged and contributed to innovations within organisations, especially multinationals, which find it easier for the transfer to be applied more quickly, due to their external relationship. In this context, the study aimed to analyse the processes of international technology transfer in a multinational company in the colorific sector of the South of Santa Catarina. The universe involved in the research was a multinational company in the colouring sector, located in the South of Santa Catarina. Among the processes of technology transfer, the one that is most used within the company is the sharing of information (know-how), exercised intra-company or top down, applied directly in its products and services. Thus, the company maintains a competitive edge in relation to the internal market through its constant innovation.
