Years later, in the Gospel of John, Jesus identified Himself as being the Staircase that Jacob had dreamed about when He said, "Hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man." Every prophecy, type and shadow, number, pattern, and symbol in the Old Testament was simply another step on the Staircase that Jacob dreamed about, and Jesus is the fulfillment of it all.As you walk up the steps of the Staircase, unique mysteries are revealed.
