Back in the 80's I remember reading Matthew 12:40, It was during the Easter season, "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." I had read that verse before, but this time I realized it didn't make any sense considering how we celebrated Easter. (Good Friday to Easter Sunday is not three days and three nights.) This put me on a quest to find out what scripture had to say about the events during Easter week. The results were amazing. Jesus truly is the lamb of God.
