Synopsis "Jewels in the Church of the Nazarene"

This book series celebrates the life stories of notable pastors and evangelists in the Church of the Nazarene. In 2010, the church celebrated 100 years since Rev. Harmon Schimelzenbach, Sibhaha, founded the first Mission of the Church of the Nazarene in Swaziland. Since then, God continues to raise a number of exemplary leaders in the Church. This is a tribute to these warriors of the Lord. It is also a challenge to us who have not yet crossed the river Jordan. The Scripture says (Hebrews 13:7, NLV): "Remember your leaders, who first spoke God's Word to you. Think of how they lived, and trust God as they did." The first book in the series "Jewels in the Church of the Nazarene" covers the life of Reverend Caiphas M. Mnisi, who served the Church as a pastor, church planter, and evangelist for more than five decades. He served the church as pastor from 1957 both in South Africa and Swaziland until his official retirement in 1989. In his post retirement, he formed the Mahenjane Church of the Nazarene for which he served as a pastor from 1997 up to the day he was called to be with the LORD on the 7th of February, 2013. He is fondly remembered for his teachings about Holiness. He constantly reminded the church that "Siyawuhlangana ekuse---ni esangweni," all the Saints shall meet in the morning, just inside the Eastern Gate of the Holy City, the New Jerusalem.
