Synopsis "Joan's Arc"
A very young man cruising through the city park in 1966 on a small motorcycle encounters a beguiling woman, someone even younger then him, on a playground swing lost in contemplation. She shyly accepts a ride that sets up a friendship, perhaps a romance, which intermittently continues over the course of the next thirty years as their lives' paths move in very different directions. It's the story of two post war kids trying to find their way through drugs, rock and roll, college, and biological imperatives after the directions and myths imperfectly provided by their adult guides failed to provide guidance through the world where these young people now lived. Their story ends in tragedy for one and the survivor's late recognition of a very deep lost personal connection floundered on the shores of self regard and spiritual ignorance.
