Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich Ingenieurwissenschaften - Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Note: 1,2, Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg (Institut für Automatisierungstechnik), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Neben einem kurzen Abriss der theoretischen Grundlagen erläutert diese Arbeit die Konzeption und Implementierung eines Workflow-Management-Systems (WMS) anhand einer flexiblen Fertigungsanlage. Die Konzeption besteht aus der Modellierung der Ressourcen und Prozesse und der nachfolgenden Erstellung der Workflows. Hierauf folgt eine prototypische Implementierung, wobei besonders auf die typischen Probleme und Fallstricke eingegangen wird. Im Fazit der Arbeit wird dargestellt, dass das anfangs aufgestellte Ziel, neue Produkte und Varianten schneller und kostengünstiger einzuführen, mithilfe eines WMS erreicht werden kann.
