La Jolie Fille de Perth ou le Jour de Saint-Valentin est un roman historique de l'auteur écossais Walter Scott, paru le 15 mai 1828, en trois volumes. Il constitue la seconde série des Chroniques de la Canongate. Cette seconde série devait, comme la première, être composée d'histoires courtes. Deux nouvelles étaient déjà écrites: Le Miroir de ma tante Marguerite et La Mort du Laird's Jock. Mais Cadell et Ballantyne, les éditeurs écossais, les ont refusées. Scott, qui envisageait La Jolie Fille de Perth comme un court récit, en a fait alors un long roman.
