Synopsis "LOL Lack of Love"
This trilogy consists of stories of how people dealt with life receiving no love from parents, spouse, or their very own children. How does the lack of love affect these people in everyday life? Omega is a sixteen year old boy who is ignored by his parents and bullied by his peers. He is what the text book calls an introvert. He longs to be friends with anybody. Omega goes to church every Sunday and is also treated mean in the house of the Lord. The preacher gets up Sunday after Sunday talking about the love of God yet no one in the church shows him the love the preacher is preaching about. He finally has had enough and decides to go to church with a loaded gun prepared to end his life in front of the congregation. Does he go through with it or does someone stop him in time. Natrice is a 35 year old woman being abused by her husband. She watched the same thing happen to her mother. Finally she has had enough and fights back killing him in the process. She knows what she has done is wrong but yet she feels freedom finally. Lanea is a woman that put her men and drugs before her children. Children end up wards of the state. The children grow up to be successful and want nothing to do with their mother even though she has cleaned up her life. Lanea learns she is dying from AIDS and wants desperately to make peace with her children. Will her children finally forgive her for her past mistakes or will she be forced to lie on her dying bed without the forgiveness of her children. What do the these three characters have in common? Will they receive the love and forgiveness they so desperately want and need? What started their path to a lack of love?
