Synopsis "Long Range Sportfishing - WHEN THE COWS CAME HOME: April-2012 Historical Journey to Clarion Island "COW" Country"

WHEN THE COWS CAME HOME-In April 2012 a group of Long Rangers boarded San Diego based Royal Star in quest of giant Yellowfin Tuna. Their destination, the Revillagigedo Islands, is an archipelago Garden of Eden to the tunas and many more of Mother Nature's prized game-fish. This group of fishermen and the Royal Star's crew had arguably the finest trip to these islands in San Diego offshore fishing history! This short story recalls the author's first-person account of the epic journey, one in which THIRTY-NINE (39) Yellowfin they hooked and landed were TWO HUNDRED (200) pounds or better. There were near limits per angler that likely will never be reproduced. There was a release cutoff weight for tuna of two hundred pounds for nearly three full days. This true story will inspire those fishermen who dream of fishing/fighting/getting in the ring with true warriors. The Revilla's, especially Clarion, hosts BIG DREAMS - it made royal stars out of the ship, crew, fishermen, and fish.In his second book, the author brings a sense of excitement into his passion to fish and to communicate. His background as a fisherman began as a child and continues through today with a yearning to enjoy the magnificent sport that fishing provides. The ultimate prize in his endeavors is the dinners they provide to many and himself. A regular offshore fisherman of one to seven days, this was the author's first trip to GIANT Yellowfin Tuna Country. As the rookie among the fishermen aboard he was treated and blessed to be fishing with some of the elite of the elite Long Rangers. In the words of the Royal Star captain, the author was blessed to be "fishing with fishermen, among fishermen"...
