Synopsis "Lukewarm Church @ Laodicea: A Greek Parable to Leukos & Leukothea?"

The Lukewarm church @ Laodicea was spiritually blind and shamelessly naked being preoccupied with money lending and selling glossy black wool for the garment industry. A call was made for the Lukewarm souls to put on some white (Leukos) clothes as a mark of innocence/righteousness and stop being obsessed with selling those expensive black clothes. After an exhaustive research, evidence reveals that this Lukewarm scene may have been a parable to Homer's Leukos and Leukothea. Leukos was killed by a spear intended for another man. Justice was taken on the guilty part by having a dark cloud cover his eyes. Blind justice was done. Leukothea saved Odysseus life by stripping naked so he could use as a sail on the plank he was drifting on the sea water. Leukothea also saved the lives of her children by switching their clothes from Black to white (Leukos). With all of this information combined it provided my satisfaction and explanation to why the writer of Revelation prefixed Luke to warm. The clues grew even sweeter when I found out that the Greek Luke (Loukas) could be a pun for Leukomas, eye disease of seeing white clouds. The origin of the word Loukas could also take us back to the word Leukos. This began the trail that grew hot into a book about the Lukewarm church @ Laodicea. Find out more about my investigation.
