In the hills of southeastern Kentucky, Getson Fisher is a teenager with a secret: he has powers that can only be called magical. He can move objects by thought, send powerful beams of fire and energy from his bare hands, even manipulate the air around him. Abandoned at birth and raised in foster care, he's never known his parents or where his strange gifts come from. One day, a homeless drifter sees Getson levitating an object. As Getson leaves, the old man grabs him and says, "I know what you are!" How can an old drifter know so much about Getson, when he doesn't know anything about himself? Is he crazy, or does this old man actually know something that Getson has yearned for his whole life. What he discovers from the strange old man stuns him; Not only is the drifter a witch, but he thinks Getson might just be one as well... the only problem is that Getson has powers that even witches don't have. His strange powers and an ancient prophecy that just might be about Getson, changes his life and his destiny forever. Getson soon enrolls in The Burning Springs School of the Mystical Arts that young witches from across America goes to to learn the ancient art of Witchcraft. Getson had set out to only look for the answer to why he has such strange powers, but some prophecies turn out to be true. Will he fulfill the prophecy and doom the witches' world, or will he be the one to save them all? Their entire society might just rest on his young shoulders.
