Synopsis "Magnetic Attraction"

Drawn together by an inexplicable magnetic attraction, Jack and Beth are thrown together by happenstance and are so drawn to each other that they feel as one. Two Philadelphia couples, while their firstborn children were toddlers, made a pact for their families to be joined together by the marriage. The Madisons had moved to Denver with their small daughter. The distance keeps the families from seeing each other for over fifteen years. Upon reaching marriageable ages, both Jon Junior and Elizabeth resisted meeting and marrying as designed. When Jack and Beth meet in Denver, being pulled to each other by a magnetic attraction, and want to marry, her mother becomes hysterical, distraught over her failed plan. Beth wants her mother to get to know Jack and accept their marriage, but her mother declares she will not permit it. Should they elope? How will they handle this unusual circumstance as they and their parents, one by one, realize the truth and are sworn to secrecy? Two decades prior, when Vickie Johnson had a son, Jon Jr., she and her best friend, Jenny, made a promise that if Jenny had a daughter their children would marry and bind them together as sisters through their offspring. Soon after, Jenny married and had a daughter. Vickie and Jenny recommitted with a pact for their children would give them a blood tie as grandparents. They delighted when little Jonny first saw tiny baby Elizabeth and he kissed her cheek. The mothers beemed with joy, hoping their dream would flourish into reality. As the children grew, Jonny kissed the little girl and grinned when his mother smiled and whispered to her friend approvingly. As the little girl grew, she would toddle to Jonny for a hug and he would kiss her cheek, so her father called Jonny "Kissy Boy". The tots were rewarded with smiles and clapping. Jonny and Elizabeth were inseparable whenever the families were together, which was quite often. Vickie had a daughter who was a few months younger than Elizabeth, so they played together often, with Jonny frequently kissing his little girlfriend's cheek. He hugged his sister, but his kisses were for Elizabeth. He loved her.
