Synopsis "Maximilian Maars on the Moon"
Sam Ray and his parents, Hal and Sharon, left the familiar surroundings of their beloved Earth to join an American research team on the moon. Though a former penal colony, the Moon now boasts a robust community of highly trained scientists thanks to Moon Grants which allowed them to explore the unknown riches of its surface. Sam misses Earth and longs to return. His only real pleasure is the occasional trip to Luna City, a dome covered community built to approximate life on earth. Life on the moon glides along smoothly until strange rumors of renegade robots from the now defunct penal colony begin to surface. When Sam finds a mysterious key while visiting the city, he suddenly becomes a prime target for the robots wrath. Known as Anitors, the robots are led by the evil scientist, Ivan. Sam's battle to protect the hard work and sacrifices of the American team, as well as discovering his alter ego, Maximilian Maars, changes the folklore of the Moon settlement forever. A rollicking space adventure chapter book young boys will love.
