Synopsis "Messed Up: Breaking free from the prison of past mistakes."
R. E. Miller describes his life as "a burning ship wreck on its way to nowhere". He had no goals, no direction and no plan. He only had the dreams of his teenage years that were fading fast as insecurities took control of his life. Disappointments and dead-end roads added to his torment. He became depressed, angry and desperate. He felt lost in a world that he didn't understand. So, like many others, he choose the path of crime. Stealing, burglarizing, and finally picking up a gun, he began making his way through life robbing and assaulting innocent people. At age 29, he finally reached the bottom of his lonely insecure life in a jail cell, all alone, where he came face to face with two simple choices. One was the end. The other was the beginning. As he pondered his fate something incredible happened just before he was sentenced to another 15 years in prison. What he discovered about himself in that jail cell inspired this story, how his messed up life found a path to hope, peace of mind and fulfillment of his dreams.
