Hettie Reed is a monster. But things weren't always that way. Life on the edges of the rainy city of Monroe, Washington is good. By day, Hettie trains with the witch Baba Yaga, and when the moon rises, she joins her friend Henry and the being called Night. Together, they learn to navigate their new lives: she, as a flesh-eating monster, and Henry, an elderly ex-detective, as Hand to one of the most powerful forces in our world. But when they're called to investigate the strange murder of a farm couple, Hettie's fragile family is thrown into chaos. From the start, nothing is as it seems, and the closer they come to the killers, the further they may be from the truth. Someone is playing a dangerous game, with bloody war at stake. Mojo Hand Blues is the second volume in the Night Blues series, the sequel to Graveyard Blues.
