What happens when a 16 year old girl chooses homelessness as preferable to living an unbearable existence with an unloving, drug addicted stepmother? "Much Needed Sunshine" tells the story of Danya Golde, a well-off teenager living the good life; that is until her father is sent to prison for manipulating client funds at his stock brokerage. Then her life falls apart and she winds up on the streets of Boston. She soon gains an appreciation that all the downtrodden are not equal.
