Synopsis "Murder on Wilbur Ridge"
Detective Ann Morgan is sent to the hill country to investigate the mutilation and killing of goats. A copy-cat crime occurs while she is there, but this time it is a human, mutilated and killed. There is also a missing woman involved. Ann believes the missing beauty, the dead man and the mutilated goats are somehow connected. She and her clairvoyant friend Loretta rent a cabin in the hills in order for Ann to be closer to the scene of the crimes. They meet moonshiners, herbalists, hunters, hill billies, ridge runners, folk musicians as well as an assortment of other characters. The action never stops in this adventure in the hills.
