Boddie Mada and Saundee Phoenix have both found themselves caught up in a whirlwind of unfortunate cosmic events affecting their personal lives. After falling in love as young teenagers, they have both found themselves experiencing nearly identical personal tragedies. Both of them have lost their families; both of them have found themselves alienated and alone in life, and both of them have found themselves no longer comforted or protected by their trusted older mentors in life.
