Synopsis "Naveen and Amber: Hand in Hand"
Since Amber's glamorous makeover in New York, she's still making changes. A struggle, since Amber feels like her life is playing in fast-forward since she and Naveen got married. With work, new family, and old friends in need, everything is becoming a blur. Making herself over becomes a renewed challenge as she takes on different roles in family life, and attempts to connect with Naveen's disapproving Indian parents. Naveen and Amber clash about managing their changing life, and work to compromise and respect each other's views. With Amber's excitable best friend, Chantal, and her romantic woes, adopted cranky "Aunt" Edith bringing additional chaos, it seems like Amber may never get a handle on making over her approach to life. Love is in the air, and everyone seems to be making their own new connections, or repairing old ones. Numerous surprising events interrupt their daily routines, and challenge the two of them to rethink how they live, and how to keep the spark and joy that comes from their emotional connection. A delayed honeymoon brings new adventures that bring the couple closer together, but is a short respite from their hectic schedules. Naveen and Amber strive to juggle their business at Poppy's Café with a new venture that will fulfill Naveen's lifetime dream, but all the best-laid plans go out the window with a life-changing surprise.
