Synopsis "No Vacation Goes Unpunished: Tales from an Unlikely Stay-At-Home Dad"
Adventure! Death-defying acts of balance! Late-night capers! An adventure is always just around the bend for a parent. You don't have to travel to the four corners of the globe to have a heart-pounding experience--sometimes you can have one in places as close as the back seat of the minivan or the bedroom down the hall. What is a man to do when faced with a full diaper and not a baby wipe in site? What is the protocol for fishing a toy out of the plumbing after it has been flushed? How does a man play a game of "rainbow princess unicorn" on the playground and maintain his dignity? Staying home with children is not for the faint of heart. Caldwell is a columnist, reporter, freelance preacher, and stay-at-home dad who lives in Tilton, New Hampshire.
