Things have changed for Shane McAllister. In the span of a few months, she went from being a desperate Toxic Radio fan to the vampire mate of Enzo Moretti; she's even being considered to play guitar for their new album. Her life would be perfect, except for a few small problems: a troubled bassist who seems to hate her, a best friend who asks too many questions, and a new, uncontrollable thirst that might just ruin everything. Shane isn't the only one with problems, though. Poor Julian is in the midst of a permanent mental breakdown. He isn't quite as horrible as everyone thinks. Sure, he may randomly snap and murder a bunch of people, but he has his reasons. It was decades ago that he accidentally killed the love of his life and ruined his every single last shot at happiness, so why is it that lately he's seeing her whenever he closes his eyes? It might be time for him to check himself into the nearest mental facility...except the pretty girl on his arm looks far too alive to be a ghost of the past.
