Synopsis "Noxious Quest"
A brave young girl faces a strange new planet in K. L. Frase's richly imaginative novel, Noxious Quest. The sequel to Unwanted Selection, and the second in a planned trilogy, is a fun intergalactic adventure that finds Kimjen and her companion, Jayjo, sent off to the planet Yarlow in search of a turquoise chin hair. On the gaseous, swamp-like world, they must deal with fantastic creatures: Sciows, Peridragons, Giant Yeeshes, and much more! But their mission hits a snag when none of the Yeeshes is willing to give up a turquoise chin hair...that is, until they find one who is desperate enough to trade. In return, the creature only demands one thing: an Iselp plant. Hunting down an Iselp plant, however, proves just as difficult as finding a turquoise chin hair! Kimjen and Jayjo are forced to turn to a Peridragon, a known species of tricksters, to help them find the hidden Iselp plant if they are to ever complete their mission. As action, adventure, and danger follow them around every corner, can Kimjen and Jayjo find what they're looking for and escape with their lives?
