Synopsis "Of Wolves and Dragonkin: Part One"

The unseen world of mythical creatures, legendary dragonkin, sorceresses of great power, ancient curses, great guardians and Divine machinations, had never really interested young Prince Yunho. Living a life of luxury within the distinguished and honored halls of Winter Wolf Castle, in the city of Daygon, the young heir grew to be one of the most beloved and respected of the great princes in all the seven realms. With the support and love of his father, High King Torrin, his mother, High Queen Tonillia, and his three sworn royal blood brothers, Yunho felt as if all was right in his precious little world and devoutly thanked the Divines on high for all the blessings they had willingly gifted upon him, every day of his life. In the spring of his twenty-fifth year, however, the peacefulness and serenity of his endearing life was suddenly shattered when, one quiet night, the castle erupted into waves of commotion as Prince Junsu, heir to the kingdom of Timeria and one of Yunho's sworn blood brothers, unexpectedly appeared just outside the castle walls. Dressed in full battle armor, with a small accompaniment of guards and lone woman cloaked in the grey raiment of Lorieni Tower in tow, and demanding an audience with the High King with an urgency unlike anyone had ever seen, Junsu seemed nearly frantic. The realms were in terrible danger. Hiding behind the unscalable and towering mountains of Morskar, a monolithic creature, from the age before men and once thought to have been destroyed centuries ago by their great ancestors, had suddenly reappeared into the age of men. Driven by the influence of a Divine, once known to be the most precious of her kind and now corrupted by an ancient betrayal perpetrated by their very own ancestors' centuries ago, the Great Lord of the Kin had returned to the realm of mortals seeking the destruction of the great houses and all that they held dear. Beseeching the High King for assistance, Junsu requests a private counsel with the royal line of Daygon, in hopes to convince the just ruler to allow the release of Prince Yunho into his care so that they may slay the beast before it can enact its revenge upon them all. Unable to persuade the High King on his own, and fearing that the king does not understand the direness of their situation, the young prince of Timeria reveals to the royal line the identity of his grey cloaked companion and in an unbelievable twist of fate, offered up by a simple and charred ancient tome, shows all assembled the truth behind the great dragon's return. Understanding the direness of Junsu's plight, High King Torrin agrees to the young prince's request and immediately orders his son to accompany Junsu and his sworn blood brothers on their great quest -never realizing that his own son would be the very key to setting not only their world free but the heart of ancient bloodline long since lost to the annals of time.
