Synopsis "ONSUM Worlds"
Becky, Daniel and Max are ordinary enough kids. Just entering their teenaged years, they go to school, do homework, play computer games, and like to read. Their lives change for the weirder, however, one day when Becky's dog drags home a shiny silver tablet with a strange message on its surface. "... ON THOSE NIGHTS WHILE THE WORLD DISPLAYS ITS MAJESTIC POWER UNCARING AND UNAWARE OF ITS TREMULOUS AUDIENCE, THE UNIVERSE LIMBERS ITS ARMS AND STRETCHES ITS FINGERS TO TAKE THE WILLING SOUL TRAVELING INTO THE STARS . . ." As they examine the tablet, the three friends do not realize that the message on the tablet is quite literal and they consider it harmless, right up until they are snatched from their home planet and flung into space to land on a strange and alien world. On that world they learn that they are players in a very large, very important game. It is a game they must win, for the fate of the universe, including their own homes, rest on their actions.
