After having his ears accosted by the rare sound of a troll crying, the mystery starts to unravel and he unwittingly finds himself at the forefront of events despite wishing he could just stand at the back and slink away for a pint. The second in the Orc series of novellas, Fairies, Fairies Everywhere is a hoot (even though there's not an owl in sight).
