The trap nearly kills them. Karen and Troy can't do anything to save themselves. It is all up to Cathy. Exploring magic in its various flavors, Cathy and Abigale manage to revive Karen and Troy. However, once they're healthy, they still have to confront the wizard Amanda Moorhead. She's the most powerful being on the planet. If they defeat her, there is a chance they can free the prisoner and return to the normal world. They have a plan. Everything looks promising. Then the world changes again. Everything is different and nothing makes sense.
